Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 bags black tea
  • 1 large ripe peach, sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 juice fresh lemon
  • to taste cubes ice for serving
  • optional fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  • Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the black tea bags along with the freshly grated ginger. Cover the pan and allow the mixture to steep for approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • After the steeping time, carefully remove the tea bags and strain the mixture to discard the ginger pulp.
  • While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey and the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix well until the honey completely dissolves.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 1 hour until it's refreshingly cold.
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  • Add a few slices of peach into each glass to enhance the flavor and aesthetic. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a delightful touch, if desired.
  • Serve immediately and relish the refreshing taste of your Ginger Peach Iced Tea!
